Hello, I’m Dr. Nancy M. Silva, a Board Certified Pediatrician. I’ve practiced since 2000. Our practice is Small World Pediatrics in Wesley Chapel, FL where we live. I’m a blessed mother of two amazing kids!
I graduated Medical School from the State University of New York Downstate College of Medicine, which in February 2019 was ranked 4th among top medical schools across the country for training our future physicians. The Castle Connelly “Top Doctors” list noted that “Over 900 of the leading doctors earned medical degrees from SUNY Downstate.” My Pediatric Residency training was at University of South Florida, College of Medicine. I’ve been in private practice since 2000.
Parenting is a wonderful lifelong journey. Newborns, infants, and toddlers grow and change every single day. And their needs do too! Each stage during these first few years comes with challenges, growth and fun. Together, we'll review and manage expectations, caring, and support as your little one blossoms.
Middle childhood (ages 6 to 12) and tweens (ages 9 to 12) are filled with growth and development, both mentally and physically. This is a stage filled with challenges, growth and opportunities! Together, we'll navigate through your child's critical thinking, social and emotional growth, and physical development.
Raising a teen is exhilarating, fun, exhausting, and scary. At this stage, your child needs your guidance more than ever! Your support helps them through all the changes, new experiences, and uncertainty in their life. They'll learn to balance independence, family connection, and strengthen their foundation for their future.
